2. Financial Literacy
Teaching kids and adults about financial literacy is a great way for educators and administrators to take advantage of this partnership. We have developed resources and curriculum that we can bring to your classroom or even HR event. Our financial literacy platform provides age-specific videos, blogs, and suveys tailored to current financial topics. From credit scores to borrowing and saving and even to the inner workings of a credit union, we can lead conversations to help teachers show real-world consequences to classroom topics.

3. Academic Planners
Without fail, academic planners have been a staple of our partnership for years and will continue to be so. We will first deliver planners during the late summer months and when those deliveries are finished, we will try to accommodate additional requests with the remaining planners.
4. Grants
While funding from the contract extension is used primarily for district-wide projects, the first contract helped establish the DATCU teacher grant through the Denton Public School Foundation. We encourage you to apply through this process first before contacting your central administration or DATCU for additional funding. We at DATCU certainly want to help whenever and wherever possible but we also want to work with the district to make sure funding is used efficiently and for the most pressing needs.
