DATCU Plans Strategic Growth with New Branch Locations

DATCU Expands North Texas Footprint with New Branches Planned in Celina, Little Elm, and Krum

DENTON, TX - DATCU continues its commitment to serving members and strengthening communities across North Texas through a strategic expansion plan that includes new branch locations in Celina, Little Elm, and Krum.

DATCU recently celebrated a major milestone with the groundbreaking of its newest branch in Celina, Texas, a rapidly growing community in Collin and Denton counties. The Celina branch is planned to open summer 2027, bringing DATCU's trusted financial services and member-focused approach to one of the fastest-growing areas in the region.

The expansion reflects DATCU's ongoing investment in providing greater access, convenience, and personalized financial solutions for current and future members.

"North Texas continues to experience tremendous growth, and DATCU is committed to growing alongside the communities we serve," stated Melanie Vest, President/CEO of the credit union. "Our expansion into Celina, along with planned locations in Little Elm and Krum, demonstrates our dedication to making it easier for members to access the financial products, services, and support they need to achieve their financial goals."

In addition to the Celina location, DATCU plans to open branches in Little Elm, Texas in late 2027 followed by a new branch in Krum, Texas, in late 2028. These new locations will enhance DATCU's ability to serve both existing members and prospective members seeking a trusted local financial partner.

As communities throughout North Texas continue to grow, DATCU remains focused on delivering convenient banking solutions, competitive financial products, and the exceptional member experience that has been the foundation of the credit union's success for decades.
The new branches will provide members with access to a full range of personal and business banking services, including checking and savings accounts, loans, mortgages, digital banking tools, financial literacy, and more.

"Our mission has always been to help members improve their financial well-being," said Tommy White, SVP of Marketing. "By expanding into these vibrant communities, we can continue building relationships, supporting local economic development, and helping more people experience the benefits of credit union membership."

The expansion represents one of the most significant growth initiatives in DATCU's recent history and underscores the credit union's long-term commitment to serving the evolving needs of North Texas residents and businesses.
