DATCU Switch Checklist

This checklist will help you make the switch to DATCU hassle-free. You may print this list and keep it handy while you are making the switch.

Things to bring with you:

  • Bill Pay: company names, address, account numbers, statements
  • Automatic Payments/Drafts: Company name, address, account number, payment amount, date drafted
  • Old Financial Institution Name, address, account numbers, debit cards
  • Direct Deposit: employer, address

Double check the following:

  • Your previous month’s bank statement to verify you have sent written notice to all merchants.
  • All checks have cleared on your old checking account.
  • You have enough funds available in your account to cover any automatic payments that may yet need to be withdrawn.
  • Maturity dates, if transferring a Certificate of Deposit, in order to avoid possible penalties.
